Job Title:         MSME Executive 

Reporting to: Vice President – SME 

Location:         Grand Turk 

Job Summary: 

The MSME Executive will provide support to Vice President SME in efforts to maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of the MSME Program. The primary responsibility will be to manage the Retail Store front on the island of Grand Turk. The MSME Executive will be responsible for the overall daily operations of the store, ensuring efficiency and profitability, contributing to the overall growth and sustainability of small businesses on Grand Turk. Other main responsibilities are facilitating customer service and meeting sales and financial goals.

The MSME Executive will provide support to clients of the MSME program, reviewing and advising on applications where required. The officer will also manage a portfolio of clients reporting to the VP-SME as required.

Education and Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Education (Secondary Level) or Higher 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Oversee the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain and update inventory.
• Prepare requests for payments and replenishment/reorder of products for the retail store.
• Manage loss prevention through security requirements and monitoring strategies.
• Report the status of sales and projections on a monthly basis, including relevant statistics.
• Maintain a portfolio of MSME clients.
• Assist and advise clients on Grand Turk and sister islands with MSME funding applications.
• Conduct site visits to business locations and report findings.
• Conduct monitoring and inspection of small businesses with approved MSME Concession Orders as directed by the VP-SME.
• Maintain a filing system of MSMEs within the portfolio.
• Establish and maintain contacts and good relationships with potential clients and businesses locally.
• Make presentations as needed to prospective MSME entrepreneurs.
• Provide support to clients of the MSME program, Assist the VP-SME in collaborative efforts to advance the team’s strategic goals.
• Conduct research, as required, to assist the VP-SME in identifying potential suppliers for the retail store front.
• Engage in any other relevant activities or duties as required by the VP-SME.

4. Experience making presentations to large and small groups.
5. Sales and Customer Service Experience

Salary and Allowances:

Negotiable in a range from $43,000 to $52,000 depending on education and experience.
