Invest TCI hosted Record Keeping Training for Small Businesses

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, October 13th, 2022 – On Thursday, September 29th, 2022, the MSME Programme managed by Invest Turks and Caicos Agency hosted its “Record Keeping for Small Businesses Training” at the Blue Heaven Resort in Providenciales. In attendance were twenty-nine engaged business owners and future entrepreneurs.

The training facilitated by Mr. Drexwell Seymour, Partner of HLB TCI Ltd., covered the following topics:

· The Importance of Record Keeping

· How to keep proper records

· Budgeting

· Personal Funds vs. Business Funds

· QuickBooks Demonstration

The MSME Programme recognizes that proper record keeping is one of the main challenges its recipients and small businesses face. Consequently, small businesses are challenged with monitoring their progress, maximizing their growth potential, and accessing financing. To enhance the sustainability and success of small businesses in the TCI, the MSME Programme is committed to offering vital training, such as record keeping training to small business owners to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to make sound business decisions.

Commenting on the Training, the Acting VP of SME Development stated, “We would like to thank the small businesses for taking time out of their busy schedules to attend the training. It is a clear demonstration of your commitment to your business’s success. We thank Mr. Drexwell Seymour for facilitating the training and his dedication and willingness to assist Invest TCI and small businesses in the Turks and Caicos Islands. We aim to host additional training and workshops throughout the year to support small business growth and development. We look forward to your participation.
