Recognized as one of the leading organizations advocating minority ownership and development in the hotel and hospitality industry, NABHOOD brings together hotel owners, developers, investors, brands and industry leaders to explore investment, development and ownership opportunities within the lodging sector.
As a conference sponsor, Invest TCI showcased the Turks and Caicos Islands as a premier destination for investment while engaging directly with leaders across the hospitality and investment sectors. Representing Invest TCI, Chief Executive Officer Mrs. Angela Musgrove participated in the panel discussion, Growing the Caribbean Hospitality Market: Working with Industry and Governments, where she shared insights on the importance of collaboration between government and industry in advancing sustainable tourism and investment. Investment Services Executive Mr. Salik Garland also participated in the Caribbean Investment and Development Forum: Where Are the Opportunities? highlighting the Turks and Caicos Islands’ competitive investment environment and emerging opportunities for growth.
In addition to participating in the NABHOOD Conference, Invest TCI hosted the inaugural Invest Turks and Caicos Investor Reception. The exclusive event brought together prospective investors, developers, members of the Turks and Caicos diaspora, local investors and strategic partners to strengthen relationships and showcase investment opportunities in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Moderated by Chief Marketing Officer Ms. Rayshell Campbell, the reception included introductions to Invest TCI’s strategic partners, Experience Turks and Caicos, the Turks and Caicos Islands Airport Authority and the Turks and Caicos Hotel and Tourism Association. Their participation gave attendees an opportunity to become familiar with the organizations that play an important role in supporting investment, tourism and the broader business environment in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
The highlight of the event was a presentation by Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Angela Musgrove. She opened the programme by delivering remarks on behalf of the Hon. Charles Washington Misick, Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, before presenting investment opportunities for both local and international investors. She also highlighted development opportunities across the Islands and provided guidance on preparing credible investment proposals and navigating the investment process. The event also featured the premiere of Invest TCI’s newly updated investment promotional video, followed by closing remarks from Investment Services Executive, Mr. Salik Garland.
The reception concluded with a networking session, allowing attendees to engage directly with Invest TCI and its strategic partners. The discussions encouraged new connections and provided guests with a deeper understanding of investment opportunities and the support available in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
